Argh!

Well, I'm trying to make some changes to my journal... and though it says that my changes have been saved, they're not showing up! *growls* Oh well, I'll try again tomorrow.

This week has flown by. Went with some old friends to see "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" - very interesting movie! Not really a 'scary' movie, per se, but thought provoking nonetheless. It was great getting to spend time with my friends, too - we hadn't hung out in awhile, but it was just like old times :)
Yesterday I went up to Evansville, and remembered just how perfect Barnes and Noble is on a chilly fall evening. Just grab a few books and a cup of cafe mocha, and nab one of their wonderful reading chairs - and you've found paradise :) To me, at least. After B&N we hit up a few more places, grabbed dinner at Olive Garden (yeah, I'm still full from that one!) and headed home.
And I spent today outside :) It was too pretty to think of doing otherwise. I took Max to the park, which was a small victory in and of itself. He was badly abused by his previous owner, and had a scare with a leash, so he's extremely cautious and a bit skittish. Not today - I got him a different collar and leash, and after a few minutes he was strutting his stuff, lol. King of the world, that's Max ;)
Soon I'll be taking my little cousin Peyton to the pumpkin patch. He's been wanting to go for a couple of weeks now, and there's one around here that has corn mazes, and hay rides, and all kinds of fun stuff. Sounds good to me! Afterwards, we can come back and carve our pumpkins, and if I can get him to sit still long enough we might watch "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" He's never seen it. His birthday's coming up on the 16th, so I may just kind of turn it into a pumpkin patch/birthday shindig, who knows :)
Well, I'm out for now. I think the audit just finished printing - so it's back to work for me!
